Decided to take a bike ride down to the beach with my niece to spend the day in the sun. The sun was bright and there was little shade from the palm trees, as we sat there on the beach and watched the swans swim in the water. We smelled some flowers and made some sand castles, before my niece told me she was getting tired. I picked her up and sat her on my lap, as I was resting myself on some driftwood, and she started to play with my necklace. Twirling the pieces between her little fingers, and then she giggled and placed her cold little hand on my chest and said “Me Lubs Yus Aunti”.
