I took my little daughter on a mini vacation to a cabin in the woods. The snow had fallen, causing an outline of frost to form along the windows. We were in awe with the display of Christmas Spirit, as they welcomed us with boxes of presents. As we were looking around, we started to hear a sound coming from what we thought was the tree. As we inched forward, we both started to laugh, thinking of “Lampoons Christmas Vacation”, it is a good thing we brought our puppies.

~Getting Ready for Christmas!~

Twas the week before Christmas and all thru the house, hold up wait a minute, it’s only a week before Christmas and there is not a decoration out or present under the tree. Time to do some last minute decoration, as I gathered up my ornaments and decorated the tree. Found some old boxes and wrapped them up, so it looked like I had been at least paying attention to the time of year it was. ~Snow Fall!~

The snow had started falling during the mid afternoon when I ventured outside of my house. I wandered about the forest until I came upon some deer standing, eating the remaining pieces of grass that stuck up over the new fallen snow. I was in such awe as I watched them finish their meal and then scatter deeper into the forest. Having watched  them hurry away I soon realized that I had lost my way and stood there trying to find my way home.

~Ditching School for the Beach!~

Didn’t want to head home right after school, so I decided to head to the beach to soak up some sun. I learned in Science you need your vitamin D, so I am just doing an experiment to see if its true…lol.

 Started off with some sun bathing and of course watching the cute boys walk by. Have to make sure I am warm enough to get into the water.

 Figured I would start off slow and play in the waterfall that was close to the pool, that looked so sparkly and warm. Wow this sun is getting hot.

Took the plunge and jumped in, the thrilling sensation of cool water on my warm skin is exhilarating. I could float here all day.
