I cannot believe the holidays are over! I am so excited, as its time to settle back down into my normal routine, which means it is time for a soaking, relaxing bath. As I look around our new bathroom, it just screams country lovin. I am such a farm girl, and this bathroom is just my style. From the fragrant flowers on the sinks, to the large tub, full of bubbles of course, this girl is in heaven. The only thing I haven’t figured out yet, is why the one toilet shoots water up in the air…you know how hard it is to stop thinking it’s a drinking fountain. J/K

My doctor told me that I needed to start up a stretching program to help relieve some of the pain in my back. I looked into yoga, swimming, and of course walking, but neither of these seemed to interest me. I came across an article that suggested trapeze as a form of exercise, so I figured why not give it a go. I had my husband help me place it outside on the tree, and looked at it, questioning what I was thinking. However, I hopped up on it, and remembered when I was a little girl, how I would twirl around the metal bar at school, so that is what I started out doing.

It seemed like I traveled to another time zone, as I came across this forest of bright red and orange trees. The rustling of leaves beneath my feet, crunched with each step I took. I had to stop for a minute as I had something in my boot, which dug into my foot with each step. I sat down on some pumpkins underneath the most beautiful tree, as I emptied the pebble from my shoe. I turned to see a bucket with apples and contemplated if I wanted to bob for apples.

~A Special Elf Gift!~

I heard some noise downstairs early this morning, so I tippy toed down the stairs carrying a roll of Christmas paper, as this was the only thing I could find. I walked down the stairs and turned the corner to see movement in the front room. As I quietly walked closer, I could see some little elves decorating the bay window. I was in awe, as I stood there watching, not sure if I should make a noise or not. I heard what sounded like very fast footprints and then felt a warm hand on mine. I looked down and seen one of the elves leading me to the window. He smiled and pointed to the tree, I moved closer and the other two opened the string of lights and I crawled inside and watched as they continued to decorate, knowing that I will always be surrounded by Christmas.
