The forecast called for temperatures to be in the mid-’80s, which means I am going to stick on a top and shorts and go soak up some fresh sun rays. The sturdy raft, which was dropped off at my house yesterday, I pushed into the cool water, as I hopped onboard. I unpacked my goodies, ranging from my book, some food and of course something to drink, to last me the afternoon. The soft pillow and hand knitted blanket, allowed or a relaxing afternoon of just drifting about on the water and enjoying the sounds of nature.

Nestled in the corner by the patio is a handcrafted, whitewashed side table decorated with the fresh spring blossom of tulips from my garden. While the glistening lights of the handcrafted spheres sit atop the desk, shining its lights upon the pictures. As you nestle yourself in the vintage chair you can feel the history radiate through your bones. The elegant detail of the cottonwood, as it sprawls its branches in the tin pitcher, only accents the steaming hot cocoa that sits on the wooden tray stand beside you.

My eyes fluttered open as I heard my rooster crowing out in the barnyard. As he called everyone awake, I slipped into some comfortable clothing as the sun was shining and the temperature was perfect for enjoying a day outside. The movers came and set up my new bedroom suite, and it was amazing.
