The letter arrived on my doorstep, addressed with only my Name “Petals”. I slowly opened it, wondering whom this could be from, as the post office would never deliver a letter like this. As I opened the letter, I smiled as I read the words so neatly printed on the parchment paper “Please meet me in our secret spot!” I knew whom it was from, and hurried upstairs to change into an outfit that was suited for the occasion. As I walked carefully to our spot, I could only hear the echo’s of birds and the leaves crushing beneath my feet. When I finally reached my destination all that was there, was a single rose.

After having an eventful night, I woke up this morning and did not feel very good. I had to run to the bathroom, as my previous nights meal decided it did not want to stay down. I sat down by the toilet, wiping my mouth with the back of my hand, leaning against the cool toilet. As I sat there, I began to think of when I would be due to start my period. I was never that good at keeping track of it, so I grabbed my cell phone and opened my app that keeps track of my cycles. My eyes widen as my app told me I was 3 weeks late, how could that be. I shrugged it off thinking it was stress, but as my stomach gurgled, again I placed my hand on my stomach, went to our cupboard, and grabbed a pregnancy test that had been in there for good luck. I opened the box and followed the instructions, placing the test on the counter of the sink when I was done and waited as my phone counted down the seconds. I started to see the faint appearance of words showing up on the test. PREGNANT, that is what I said, I could not believe it, and I grabbed another test and repeated the steps, sitting on the toilet as my hands shook, waiting for the results. I yelled for my husband, as he walked into the bathroom, he came over to me and at that time, two faint lines appeared on the stick. We were truly blessed…We Are Expecting!”

Heard a noise from above, opening my eyes and stretching I slowly moves my arms in a circular motion until my body starts to levitate off the ground. Lifting my head high as my voice echos sayings until the ground parts and my body starts to float to the surface. ~The New Car Smell!~

Parking my bike side the house I decided it was time to go adventure out and get a car. I was shopping around when I found the perfect car, it was not red, which of course is my favorite color, but it was beautiful. I hopped in and was in awe as to how comfortable I felt behind the wheel. I talked with the sales person, until we agreed upon a price and I was handed the keys to my new beauty. I smiled sitting in my car, knowing the possibilities in here are endless. I drove home, keeping an eye on the sky as it looked like some clouds were rolling in. Wouldn’t you know it, as soon as I got home, the clouds let loose and it started to rain, but that could not damper the beauty of this day.

~Warm Water Air!~

Though not dressed to swim, I decided to push off the beach with my new raft we purchased at Earthworx. While bobbing up and down on the surf of the waves, I giggle as I hear the clanking of the raft against the shallow rocks. The blanket is so soft and comforting, that I remembered that I hadn’t had lunch yet. Lifting the lid of the picnic basket I start to fumble my way through it to see what surprises lie inside.
