I decided today was a good day to go out and start working on my gardening. I had planted some seeds a while ago and figured it was time to see if they needed to be transplanted to their new homes, as their previous tins were getting small for them. As I started out to my gardening bench, I heard the sounds of my kids, my heart sunk, as I was hoping they were not by my garden bench. Once I rounded the corner and see Clyde sitting atop the bench and Bonnie was trying to climb the ladder, I knew the kids had welcomed my poor plants and I just hope that I reached them in time to save them.

~Sneaking Out For A Snack!~

When the sun is barely raised and the rooster is still nestled on its perch is when you will find Mother Nature’s beautiful creatures come out to feast. The astonishing creatures will creep from the forest edge to snack on the freshly grown grass, with its dew soaked leaves. As the alpha buck steps out first, making sure the path is clear, he nods and lets the rest of his family know that it is safe to travel a little farther out. As they fill their stomachs and feel the warmth of the sun on their skin, they know they must venture back into the forest, amongst the trees and bushes to keep themselves safe from the predators that lie await for them.

The flowers have all bloomed and we worked all night to get the hot tub all set up and running. Though we could not hop in it last night, due to it taking time to warm up, we were very excited to spend the morning hours, relaxing in the warmth of the water while watching the sunrise. I am not sure if the heat of the hot tub or the warmth of the sun made the flowers smell so much more fragment than normal, but the air just swirled with the aroma of the full bloomed blossoms that spread their petals around the hot tub this morning, as if to welcome us to the surroundings.

~Country Roots!~

The sun is shining and that means it is time to toss on some jeans and your comfortable flannel and head out to the garden to make sure that your plants are sprouting those pretty petals that you are waiting for. As you walk to the shed to gather your tools, you passed your friendly little chickens, who look up to you for their morning breakfast. You reach the shed, gather the cracked corn, and carefully scatter it about the ground where they call their home. Watching their little beaks working violently to gather as much as they can in one bite, to fill their stomachs, which you know later will become those fresh eggs you love to eat.

~Taken Up Roost!~

I received a phone call from the post office, asking me to give them a call, I thought this was rather strange, but I dialed up their number. “Good morning, this is Petals Jinx; I received a message to give you guys a call. Yes Ma’am, we tried to deliver your mail today, but you seem to have a mailbox full already of visitors.” I did not know that they were talking about, I had just gotten the mail on Saturday and everything was fine. “Thank you, Sir, I will go fix the issue right now”, as I hung up the phone. As I walked out my front door, I saw my lantern had been occupied by a family of Oriole, which made me start to think of what might be in my mailbox. As I walked closer, I could hear the chirping of little birds…I inched closer only to see a family of blackbirds had built their home in my mailbox. I smiled at the beauty and decided it was time to put up another mailbox for the mail carrier because I was not going to display this little feathered family.
