I remember hearing the story of a pair of siblings you wandered into the woods and stumbled upon a house made of candy and sweets. I looked down at my daughter and laughed, thinking who could build a house of candy and sweet stuff, and it last and survive the elements of nature. As we were daydreaming, we started to smell the fragrance of cinnamon rolls, which started to make our stomachs growl. As we followed our noses, we spied a house, which was made of rice crispy treats, cinnamon rolls, candy canes, and so many other delicious items. As we got closer we couldn’t help but to see if the items were truly made of candy or if they were just decorations, so as our tongues licked the side of a candy cane, our eyes lit up as they were real…It was all real…..Wasn’t it?

My doctor told me that I needed to start up a stretching program to help relieve some of the pain in my back. I looked into yoga, swimming, and of course walking, but neither of these seemed to interest me. I came across an article that suggested trapeze as a form of exercise, so I figured why not give it a go. I had my husband help me place it outside on the tree, and looked at it, questioning what I was thinking. However, I hopped up on it, and remembered when I was a little girl, how I would twirl around the metal bar at school, so that is what I started out doing.

It seemed like I traveled to another time zone, as I came across this forest of bright red and orange trees. The rustling of leaves beneath my feet, crunched with each step I took. I had to stop for a minute as I had something in my boot, which dug into my foot with each step. I sat down on some pumpkins underneath the most beautiful tree, as I emptied the pebble from my shoe.
