As I opened the letter, I smiled as I read the words so neatly printed on the parchment paper “Please meet me in our secret spot!” I knew whom it was from, and hurried upstairs to change into an outfit that was suited for the occasion. As I walked carefully to our spot, I could only hear the echo’s of birds and the leaves crushing beneath my feet. When I finally reached my destination all that was there, was a single rose.

The alarm started beeping that annoying sound that reminded us a new day was about to start. I rolled over and flicked the switch, stopping that horrendous sound. I nudged my love to make sure he was awake and head to the bathroom for my morning routine. When I came back, I seen him sitting on the loveseat…I smiled down at him as he motioned for me to sit. The brisk chill in the air, made me want to go out and gather some pumpkins so we could decorate our front porch. My husband walked with me thru the trees as we listened to the birds chirping to greet us. We stopped at the batch of pumpkins and both picked up our personal pumpkins for us to decorate later. Today was a busy day of housework and chores. I had to run to the store, clean the house, rake the leaves and I am sure I forgot something.
