It had been a year since the passing of my grandpa, and the old car he used to drive was sitting down in our old woodshed. I wandered down there today to just feel close to him when I saw the apples on the apple tree were ripe. I got all the supplies around and then went up to the house to get the kids. What an amazing way to spend the day, picking applies with our future and our past!
